Project Introduction:
The JB-W500B microcomputer-controlled pendulum impact testing machine is a new product developed by our company in strict accordance with GB/T3038-2018 "Inspection of Pendulum Impact Testing Machines" and GB/T229-2020 "Metal Charpy Notch Impact Test Method"; it is an ideal testing instrument for measuring the impact resistance of metal materials under dynamic loads. The equipment's actions such as taking, impacting, and placing can be automatically controlled. The display mode is dual display: the dial pointer and the computer are displayed at the same time. Test results such as impact absorption energy and impact toughness can be printed in batches or one after another. It has a compact structure and simple operation. The maximum impact energy of the equipment is 500J and is equipped with a 250J pendulum.
two. Program description:
The working principle of this equipment is to use a high-precision photoelectric encoder and a computer with special measurement, control and calculation software to detect the impact absorption energy and the impact toughness of the material by detecting the difference in potential energy of the pendulum before and after impact. The display mode is dual display: that is, the dial pointer and the computer are displayed at the same time. The computer can not only display the impact absorption energy and impact toughness, but also automatically process the test data and automatically generate test reports. Actions such as pendulum removal, pin withdrawal, impact, and placement can be controlled manually by a hand control box, or automatically controlled by mouse input using a computer program, and test results can be printed in batches or one after another.
The equipment uses a microcontroller as the lower computer control, and the brand computer as the upper computer control. The upper computer program uses VB programming to complete the data exchange and instruction transmission between the upper and lower computers, making full use of the powerful functions of the microcontroller for data processing, report processing, etc. A high-precision rotary encoder is used to obtain the real-time position of the pendulum and obtain impact absorption power. It has the characteristics of system reliability, stability, and accurate data.

5. Software operation introduction:
The software runs under Windows, and the user interface is a Chinese window system consistent with Windows style. Test operations such as taking out, withdrawing pins, impacting, and placing can all be completed by mouse input or clicks on the computer screen.
5.1 Operation of software
After double-clicking the shortcut of this software, you will enter the software operation interface as shown in Figure 1. Click the exit button on the software operation interface to exit the software.

The function menu of the software is as follows: "New file", "Open", "Save", "Delete", "Result analysis", "Test parameters", "Exit" and other functions.
5.2 “New File” button function
By inputting sample data, you can change the number of samples in each group and customize the items as needed.

5.3 Analog dial

Angle display board function: The angle display board displays the pendulum angle, the blue pointer represents the actual value, and the yellow pointer represents the peak value.
Energy display panel function: The energy display panel displays real-time energy, the blue pointer represents the actual value, and the yellow pointer represents the peak value.
5.4 Gear selection

Angle function: When starting the test, click the pendulum to start, and the angle display bar will display the angle value of the pendulum rising until the limit angle; after the impact is completed, when the pendulum falls, the pendulum angle will be displayed until it returns to zero. Angle clear button; when the pendulum is in its natural state, it can be cleared, but it cannot be cleared in other states.
Range selection button; use the large pendulum to select the 300J range; use the small pendulum to select 150J.
Energy function: Displays the impact energy value generated after impact.
5.5. Result display bar

Impact energy function: displays the maximum impact energy value after the test.
Impact toughness function: displays the impact toughness value after the test.
5.6 Instructions for using software buttons

Pendulum raising function: Raise the pendulum to the maximum elevation angle.
Cancel function: Click Cancel to release the safety pin.
Impact function: Click to impact the sample.
Drop pendulum function: After the test is completed, click the drop pendulum button and the pendulum returns to its natural state.
